As a Team we are committed to engaging with children, young people and families with the love of God.
Members of the ministry team regularly take Collective Worship in several of the Infant, Junior and Primary schools across the team, and visits to the churches are often arranged for curriculum activities and regular festival services are hosted by the local churches for the schools. In recent years we have run several very popular Experience Easter story telling sessions in St. Mary's church for the children of the Junior school, which have been very popular. Whilst schools have been closed and during the phased reopening due to Coronavirus, Collective Worships have become virtual, with a weekly youtube Collective Worship produced by the Team
Members of the clergy and congregation are governors on the several of the school governing bodies.
The High School has a More2Life group run through Integrate Youth for Christ, which the Ministry team support and work on the team with, and they also run regular prayer spaces with volunteers from the churches.
